introduction

bowmanrileyarchitects was established in Skipton, North Yorkshire in 1968 and has grown to become a highly skilled & committed team of over 50. 

The company is proud to announce its 40th anniversary this year!

In 2005 we opened an office in the centre of Leeds.  This vibrant and dynamic team has continued to grow, and moved to bigger premises in 2006.

bowmanrileyarchitects was incorporated in 2004 and operates as a limited company with 5 shareholding directors.

The directors are supported by a skilled team which currently comprises 9 associates, 15 chartered architects, 2 chartered surveyors, 15 architectural technicians, a number of graduate trainees and a dedicated administration team.

quality assurance

bowmanrileyarchitects operates a quality management system which is regularly assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 by SGS United Kingdom Limited.  This is an ongoing certification which was originally achieved in 1997 and our latest 3 year certification was gained in February 2007.

investors in people

bowmanrileyarchitects recognises the importance of mutual support, and on the basis of this, the Practice achieved Investor in People accreditation in November 1999.  Adopting the Standard has enabled the Practice to develop and formalise the underlying culture even further.

Training and development has always been an integral part of the culture and strategy of bowmanrileyarchitects.  Our Continued Professional Development (CPD) programme ensures that all practice members are encouraged and given the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge.
